Peek Into Granny's Book Box

Nancy Childers has been around children all her life with six children twelve grandchildren and one great grand-baby. She is a woman with an extraordinary imagination always had stories to tell and write down on paper. She finally put some of her tales together into a marvelous book for children. Life's situations had led her to create lovable and enchanting characters that she could tell her own mishaps through. Lucky for Nancy, all always worked out well through friendship and love. Childers brings to life a magical world that will amaze all who turn the pages of this amazing book.

Her story-book, entitled, 'Granny's Book Box' is told in five wonderful and enchanting stories. Some of the characters find their way into more than one of her different tales. The magnificent graphic art designs by Helen McManus bring a colorful enchanting world to life! McManus also designed the cover which is a child eye-catcher for sure. The bright yellow background brings out the stars of the stories that are in the book, as they do some reading too!

You will meet a little white goose, Inky who is a small ant, a little cow who thought she couldn't moo named Mooie, a lady-bug, a magical frog named Bumpy and a wizard who can create magic are amongst the other delightful creatures. The more of Nancy's little friends you meet, the more they become very special indeed.

The book, as you would imagine, is in full interior color! Nancy Childer's lovable creatures pop out through the exceptional talents of Helen McManus. There are two other artists, Laura Walker and Mollie, who created pictures for two of the stories. It all seems to fall right into place and a most enchanting book is brought to life.
